How to Reach the World on a Pittance with Web Radio

One of the lowest cost, with low maintenance and time investment web radio promises to be one of the best ways to reach around the world, where some may not be able to go.

Case in point, on the internet two plus years, ReGenesis Radio web radio went live in the fall of 2008, on Rosh Hashanna - the Jewish New Year. Our format has included music and scripture via the spoken word, as well as the written word via our newsletter. We come under the umbrella of ReGenesis Resources a 501 C3 non profit organization since 2004; whose mission is publishing to the indigent and shut ins. ReGenesis does not broadcast commercial advertising or DJ hype; just music and scripture.

Our system runs on open source Linux, with open source automation software, eliminating high cost licenses and maintenance of Windows systems used in some radio stations. We use the same system used in radio broadcast systems; it runs on a medium to high grade PC. Someone with normal computer skills feels comfortable in about 30 days to configure and program the audio content, which runs 24 x 7 or whatever schedule desired.

Web Radio Successes are God’s Successes

Since 2008 RGR has reach listeners and readers in nearly every nation on earth to include thousands who have heard and read the message of Salvation in Jesus Christ as well as music and the spoken Word by way of our 24 x7 internet web radio stream at http://www.ReGenesisRadio.com.

Some of the regions RGR reached since 2008 include the Islamic crescent including Sudan, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Morocco, but also South Africa the far east including Philipines, Malaysia, China, Vietnam, India and Pakistan.

The gospel has gone out through RGR from our humble - home based ministry location in Sarasota, Fl where we operate covered under the expense of our home, eliminating the brick and mortar overhead,.

Our successful marketing strategies have included Google pay per click and email campaigns. Our pay per click cost are typically set very low between $.02 to $05 per click. If we were to increase this amount we would get much greater response.

Our Goals Looking Ahead

Our website analytics show that some listeners in foreign lands land on our web site but apparently because they cannot read English, they leave without the ability to understand what is being said or written. We have researched and discovered a wonderful software solution that translates the written word into whatever language is desired. Readers will see the Word in their native language.

We at RGR want to purchase this translation software to translate our website pages into languages a few to include the Mideast and Far East in the 10 - 40 window where billions of people live and want to hear the Word.

We also need equipment upgrades in our home based studio to include basic recording equipment where some basic equipment is non existent such as microphones.

A thought of Our Accountability

What if when we got to heaven we met hundreds or thousands of people who clicked on a 2 or 3 cent Google pay per click, read the salvation message and received Jesus Christ's free offer of salvation? That means our investment of 2 cents may have been the medium used by God where people were saved from eternal damnation. Such a small investment for a huge reward. Jesus said, "Is not a Sparrow sold for a farthing?" You can participate and help.
